Dr. Sunder founded the Prem Center for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine in Chennai, overseeing a team treating 100 patients daily. He previously led Physical Medicine at Global Hospitals and VHS (2008-2014) and he is the only Indian author of a textbook on Rehabilitation Medicine, with the second edition of "MCQs in Rehabilitation Medicine (2021)..

With 500+ office ergonomics programs and contributions to IT workstation design, he’s a recognized figure in Rehabilitation Medicine. His work has earned several awards, including the COSTED Fellowship (1991), Raghaviah Memorial Award (1998), and the National Award (2011).
